Nutrition

Our food menu program offers a full-time cook on staff, Monday to Friday.  She is passionate about preparing delicious healthy meals for your children and our menu follows nutritional guidelines by the Ministry of Education, Early Learning Years.  Each child is encouraged, not forced, to try menu options and we ensure every child has a full tummy.  If your child has any food allergy restrictions, please let the Director know immediately to ensure accommodations in the menu are provided. (Please note:  Our menu offers Helal options)

*Note that in summer months, afternoon snacks may be substituted more frequently with homemade fruit popsicles, fruit smoothies, fresh berries, and watermelon.

Please note:  Homemade means no processed, canned, or packaged products of any kind including muffin and pancake mixes.  We use less store-bought products and provide homemade items such as breads, biscuits, muffins, loaves and cookies for snacks and lunches.  We also buy bagged lentils and chickpeas (not canned) to substitute for meat if required.
