Early childhood educators are essential in creating and implementing quality Early Learning Programs. Our centre offers, three-age group classrooms,
Ladybug Room (toddler, 18 mos. – 2 ½ years)
The ladybug classroom offers a large wrap around climber with different height levels to encourage walking, climbing and balancing abilities. Wonderful exploration areas such as colorful building blocks, magnetic board, sensory, and lots of outdoor play in the fresh air. Our teachers support little ones to express their emotions such as frustration more positively through reading, puppets, sensory crafts, and musical play.
Bumblebee Room (preschool 2 ½ yrs. – 4 yrs.)
The preschool classroom offers a larger play area for creative movement and exploration. This room has an amazing loft area that children can use their imaginations to pretend they are in a big tree house or spend quality quiet time reading a book. The preschoolers love to build and construct, entertain through musical instruments, and engaging circle time programming. The teachers offer face to face interaction to foster listening skills, new vocabulary, and storytelling abilities. There is plenty of outdoor time in our wonderful playground.
Dragonfly Room (school age 4 yrs. – 6 years)
The school-age room offers more extensive play and exploration opportunities. Children at this level are free to choose activities and play partners that encourage and develop their independence. Through Imaginative play, teachers assist children to encourage positive social interaction, problem solving abilities, and build a strong sense of self. This age group enjoys more time in the outdoors through nature walks and field trip opportunities.
